WHO BENEFITS?
While ordinary Congolese people suffer, powerful entities continue to profit from exploitation:
– Tech Giants: Companies like Samsung, Tesla, Apple, and Microsoft depend on Congo’s minerals but have failed to take sufficient action against human rights abuses.
- Foreign Governments: Nations like the S., China, and EU countries have personal and strategic interests in Congo’s resources, often backing corrupt rebel groups.
Emergency Appeal – How You Can Help We at SLAWA (South London African Women’s Association) are heartbroken by the devastating war in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Many of our members have roots in the DRC and have lost loved ones in this crisis. “If one member suffers, all suffer together; if one member is honored, all rejoice together.” – 1Corinthians 12:25
We refuse to stand by. We are taking action – and we need your help!
