Diane Pither, a member of SLAWA and runs her own organisation which is based in Manchester. They help women of ethnic minority with children education, adoptions, fostering, and health. They support children in education by assisting them with homework, after school activities which includes French, African languages, art, craft, dance and music. Their organisation also focuses on making dressmaking affordable for those struggling with their finances, giving a helping hand to those who really need it. They also provide sewing and craft training in groups and on one to one basis.
